Vice President of Marketing
Location: San Mateo, CA
We are looking for candidates who possess a significant subset of the following:
- At least 10 years marketing and/or general management experience, preferably with subscription revenue business models
- World-class expertise in search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) – intimate knowledge of search engines, web analytic suites, bid-management tools and bid management algorithms
- Proven experience in affiliate marketing, email marketing, blog marketing, and direct mail
- Excellent organizational, statistical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, written and oral presentation skills. Must have a passion about numbers, market indicators, and metrics – and have the analytical skills to translate hard data into insight and action
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making. Ability to make decisions within a fast-paced environment, communicate rationale, and take action
- Superior team development and management skills, experience with budget and timeline development
- Must be resourceful, self-motivated, and able to be successful in a fun, entrepreneurial team-based environment
- BA or BS degree or equivalent, MBA desired
- Good natured, sociable, creative, and diligent individual who is driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated
